A historic brick fire station with two bays was the objective of AFPD’s replacement of station 3 on a very small site. With brick detailing reminiscent of the golden brick architectural era, this small station of 8,800 sq. ft. sits on a small site of 20,950 sq. ft. The arched openings are uniquely elliptical in shape. With efficiency, this station’s layout comfortably accommodates all the necessary functions required in today’s state of the art emergency services facility.
